Before starting Jet Set Wash, I spent years in the typical 9–5 routine. On the surface it was stable, but inside it was slowly wearing me down. The long days, the repetition, the feeling of being stuck in a cycle that didn’t suit me – it all began to take its toll. I struggled to switch off after work, and the time I did have with my family never felt like enough. I knew something had to change.

I’d always taken pride in hands-on work and seeing the difference a proper clean can make to a home. The more I helped out friends and family with exterior cleaning, the more I realised how much I enjoyed it. It gave me a sense of purpose and achievement that my old job never could.

Making the decision to step away from the 9–5 wasn’t easy, but it’s one of the best choices I’ve ever made. Starting Jet Set Wash not only allowed me to build something of my own, it also gave me back the freedom I’d been missing. Now I can manage my own time, spend more precious moments with my family, and pour my energy into work that genuinely matters to me.
